Sustainable Building was established in 2018 through the Housing Program to achieve sustainability standards in buildings and communities. Its goal is to ensure construction quality, enhance energy and water efficiency, and improve the quality of life in housing projects — all in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, through a range of services.

In pursuit of the Housing Program’s objectives under Vision 2030, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing launched the Sustainable Building Program to provide services that support the sustainability of buildings and real estate communities. The program also contributes to increasing the homeownership rate among citizens, organizing the real estate sector, and enhancing the quality of life within buildings and real estate communities.
